Your surgeon will consider your eye shape, brow position, eyelid thickness, existing crease, and personal preferences. A higher crease is not always the most flattering choice. The goal is to create a balanced design that complements your individual features and looks natural on your face.

Should I choose the incisional or non-incisional method? 🤔

The non-incisional method may be suitable if you have thinner eyelids with little excess skin. The incisional method is generally recommended when skin or fat needs to be removed, a stronger crease is desired, or a previous result needs correction. Your eyelid anatomy will determine which option is best for you.

Will double eyelid surgery make my eyes look bigger? 👀

It can make your eyes appear more open, defined, and refreshed. However, double eyelid surgery does not directly correct weak eyelid-opening strength. If ptosis is present, eyelid muscle correction may also be recommended to create a brighter and more balanced appearance.

Can the crease become uneven or disappear over time? 🪞
